HTSL Group Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement
Introduction:
This statement covers the activities of HTSL Group and its subsidiaries and complies with both the letter and spirit of the law, in accordance with Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015. It outlines the steps that HTSL Group has taken to ensure that modern slavery or human trafficking is not taking place within any of its businesses or supply chains.
Modern slavery and human trafficking continue to be a hidden blight on our global society. We all have a responsibility to be vigilant to the risks, however small, within our business and the wider supply chain. HTSL Group is committed to acting ethically, with integrity and transparency in all our business dealings, and to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate and operational activities.
Our Structure:
At HTSL Group, we offer a comprehensive radiological managed service that provides end-to-end solutions including equipment, services and training for organisations where radiation is present, employing over 50 managers, engineers, and technicians, through its subsidiary companies across various regions including the UK, Ireland, USA, and Australia.
Our Policies and Due Diligence Processes for Slavery and Human Trafficking:
HTSL Group has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery and human trafficking. We expect all those in our supply chain and contractors to comply with our values. We have implemented the following internal policies to ensure that we are conducting business in an ethical and transparent manner:
Supply Chain:
- Our supplier approval process incorporates a thorough review of the controls implemented by the supplier to ensure there is no evidence of slavery or human trafficking.
- This due diligence includes fostering long-standing relationships with suppliers and clearly communicating our expectations regarding modern slavery and human trafficking.
- We conduct regular reviews of our suppliers to ensure compliance with these standards.
- HTSL Group will not support or engage with any business found to be involved in slavery or human trafficking.
Training:
- Our leadership team is responsible for compliance within their respective divisions and in their supplier relationships.
- The leadership team has been made aware of this statement and has received appropriate training to identify and prevent modern slavery and human trafficking.
- All employees receive an induction into the business where our policies, procedures, and expectations are outlined.
Recruitment:
- We conduct rigorous checks on any new employees, including verifying the right to work in the relevant countries, to safeguard against human trafficking or individuals being forced to work against their will.
Whistleblowing Policy:
- Our whistleblowing policy is designed to ensure that all employees and contractors can raise serious concerns, which they believe indicate malpractice or wrongdoing within HTSL Group, without fear of repercussions, disciplinary action, or jeopardizing their position within the company.

Ongoing Commitment:
HTSL Group will continue to regularly review and update this statement and related policies to ensure they remain effective and in line with best practices. This statement has been approved by the Board of Directors and will be reviewed annually.
Approval:
This statement is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and constitutes HTSL Group’s slavery and human trafficking statement for the current financial year.
